Jennifer Green, director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research at Jacksonville State University’s School of Business and Industry, was recently elected to serve on the board for the Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER).
Founded in 1947, AUBER’s membership includes economists and researchers in public and private universities who are dedicated to continually improving the quality, effectiveness, and application of research in business, economics, and public policy. Directors help guide the strategic direction of AUBER, while also serving as resources and invaluable members of their community.
“I am honored to represent Jacksonville State University at a national level on AUBER’s board,” Green said. “It gives me the opportunity to learn best practices applied in other states and bring those home to our center to implement in our own communities.”
The board elections were announced Oct. 15 at AUBER’s 2019 conference held in Savannah, Georgia, which was hosted by the Parker School of Business at Georgia Southern University.
