Bevin has been in varying economic development related roles at Alabama Power for over 5 years. In her current role as Community Development Manager, Bevin is focused on helping communities prepare for industrial, commercial and residential growth through a focus on human, physical and financial capital.
Jennifer Schmidt, Schmidt Consulting, LLC
Jennifer has nearly 20 years of public policy, funding, advocacy, and project development experience. As Southern Regional Director for U. S. Senator Roger Wicker, Jennifer supported municipalities, nonprofits, and other entities in project development and funding requests, including resolving governmental regulatory issues. In October 2014, Jennifer established Schmidt Consulting, LLC, and currently represents local governments, non-profits, and economic development organizations as a grant writer to develop and strengthen projects and obtain funding for initiatives.
