Join us Thursday, September 9th at 11:00 am for part two in our series covering EDPA’s new Five Pillar Approach to Economic Development in Alabama. This second session will cover Innovation + Entrepreneurship and Talent Attraction + Retention. Discussing the topics will be Miller Girvin, EDPA Executive Vice President, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Estes Hughes, Vice President, EDPA Innovation and Talent Director. This event will be held virtually.

Innovation + Entrepreneurship:

EDPA works with Alabama entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and other ecosystem builders to provide mentorship, connections, and seed capital to contribute to the success of locally grown companies.

Talent Attraction + Retention:

With private sector engagement and strong public sector ties, EDPA leverages its private sector engagements to facilitate talent retention efforts in conjunction with local and state government, colleges and universities, and companies, across the state.
